THE JOURNEY
of how far we came, in words of mine.

It was all in His plans for me to study in Sydney. Now that I'm here, it's up to me to shine His light.

FLY AWAY TO SYD
on the journey to Sydney.

4 years in Sydney is an awefully long time.
Catch me before I fly away, cause I'm having the time of my life.
Friends come and go, but the close ones never part irregardless of the distance.

lada lada lada :D

i realised that the layout of my blog doesn't really suit me. firstly, it's pink. it's not tht i dislike pink, but this colour doesnt represent me. secondly, there are 4 "love" words on it, which was totally unintended for. haha. but overall, the collage is great - messy yet enticing. since i reactivated this blog primarily due to the fact tht i'm heading for sydney, i shall update you on some facts.

reasons to why i'm heading for sydney:
1. escape from the singapore system which i've suffered for 12 long years.
2. overseas experience.
3. do a double degree (but i may change it to a double major now - how ironic!)
4. erica? [haha]

wishlist for sydney:
1. money to buy winter clothes
2. ipod nano 4gb
3. camera
4. new bag
5. webcam

details bout sydney:
i'll be leaving on the 10th july, 830pm flight - SQ221. my good friend, erica, will be picking me up from the airport. thereafter, she will be my tour guide, and i will also be staying at her place until i find my own accomodation. i'll be finding a 3-room apartment with 2 other guys, darren and ivan. wht's wrong with staying together with guys? NOTHING. guys are easier to get along with, and they can take care of me if anything happens. we are trying to find one tht is near the beach, yet walking distance from the school. tht would be the perfect lifestyle! haha. i'm going there with lots of friends, so it'll be one big reunion when we get there. :D

in short, the closure of the school may be seen as a blessing in disguise for me. tho the same could not be said of some. this twist of events 1 week ago has left many stranded and confused. at the end of the day, this incident has taught me to look at my friends in a different angle and i was able to see how they react in times of emergency.AND, i also understand myself a lot better now. :)) in any case, i'm looking forward to sydney (but not its winter)! LOL.
